Its really at its limit Penny. I was hoping it would show more growth by now. I also think-- still not sure- if its an every other year bloomer. One year grow, one year deliver Mangoes.
Its already July. I hope I get at least one big flush this year.
Our record rainy winter..really made these types of plants wonder if they want to grow here...ha!

?? lol Stan if you get a great crop you ll know that winter gave it a kick up the back side to fruit I hope it does give you a good crop this year. I did nt realise they did nt crop every year.

If you had told me,I would have a 8'+ Mango tree that bore fruit 15 years ago? I would thought that was like heaven.
Now that I do have one?..reality of it must have to be pretty big to bare fruit like most temperate fruit tree's do in our climate. The other reality is...At my age,I think I have at best another 15 years-lol. So,I guess even if everything goes perfect for the tree,it will never be "more then I can eat".
It will be just as its been..lots of fun and interest.

So your all ready in heaven then lol with your Mango tree being a reality.
You can never say 15 years as if you lead a good life people are living a lot longer now Stan so you could still be picking your fruit for many years to come its the poor people who are dying very young now a days.

A nice lady on one garden board described my plants as "Fun plants". I think that's it. They tend to have bang for the buck ( money) as we say in America. If it wasnt for a screen of Euonymous hedges,I would be lots of one of this and that-lol.

How sweet of her to say your plants are fun plants I hope she meant that with good intentions.

I plant I dont like are hedges who wants to cut hedges more work and at that never flower . I have dug and pulled up loads of hedges in the 30 different places I ve lived the only thing they are good for is dulling traffic noise and protecting homes from traffic polution.
