I think they have a reputation for being tender and needing fll sun. This one is growing in shade on solid clay, and I still have to hack it back every so often

I do remember 4 or 5 species being killed here in '79?

This is a great old shrub. One I remember from childhood. Often covered in flower. Many good Olearias which seem to be scarce in the trade.
