This is for my records.
Also known as Jerusalem sage
I bought this plant in spring and forgot the name.
Commomile and Sbg (GOY members) confirmed that it is a Phlomis.
Attractive velvety leaves
Long flowering season and tolerance of drought
Blooms giving a magnificent candelabra effect-yellow.
Evergreen.
Attracts bees and other nectar loving insects
Award of Garden Merit.
