Lovely healthy looking rhodo. Gorgeous deep colour like that packs a real punch visually. Mine was disturbed by the move and it has put out new leaves but no buds this year...soil here is sandy and there are lots of spruce around so I added a needle mulch! Mine's called "English Pink" and will have to wrap her up really snug for winter...(and say a lot of prayers...as we're in a zone pocket. The highlands between Georgian Bay and the Ottawa Valley is zone 3)...so it's location, location, location.) I'm scoping out places on the south side of the house, near the foundation.
