Rhodotypos scandens

This is the first unusual shrub I planted (almost twenty years ago now). The white flowers are followed by black berries - both are carried at the same time later in the season as flowers are produced over a long season. I get a few seedlings each srping as well. Easy-going as to conditions, it grows about five feet tall and the same across.
