this page should help explain part of the development of these lovely little roses. According to the developers they were contrived to fill a niche...for people who garden with very little space available to them.. They are marketed as indoor plants, but since I received the first one about 10 years ago, I planted it outdoors. It has been hardy in the garden with winter temps down to minus 30's. Now they are marketed as "ground cover" as well...and they are amazing plants. I left most of the two dozen plants I had in the last garden...and moved only two of them. I now have red and white...there are yellow, peach and pink in many shades. Wonderful plants...

Hi Lori,
thank you very much. I checked the information and I found, they are really the roses of the origin I thought they are, e.g. from German company Kordes. I love Kordes breeds and have several in my garden, too. They are very healthy and disease resistant. These are very lovely, too. I did not know they (Kordes) have also flowers for inner spaces, that´s nice news :)
