Yes Scotsgran, I have several different ones too. But 'Red Gurkha' is the "star" one. It's a form of R. purpurea, but doesn't poke its head out until June, even for me down here in the south.

This seems to be a very easy to grow plant Andrewr. I now have a few different ones and seedlings of others. They seem to flourish in different light and soil situations.
