Salvia 'Amistad' (or is it?)

From the village plant sale I was not totally convinced that it was Amistad and I'm less sure now. The trouble is that it seems too early for either Purple Majesty or Black Knight.

Hi Meanie, as Cottagekaren and Amy2 suggest .... Perhaps it's a rare cross .... Possibly an early flowering "Meanies Purple Knight". 👍
