Rob Potterton was at our group meeting on Thursday.Bought this one ,'Excellent' and one of the Czech ones.'Dawn Frost' was theirs but got that at Harlow.

I was thinking you certainly have lots of sax's. Do you find these easier to grow than the Androsace or just more available.

hi Sheila.I find Androsace very hard.I can germinate them ok and they seem to grow on well.They then go brown and fall over.I asked Rob Potterton and he said to leave them in the pots for a year as they may not have enough root to cope.I still bought one off him at Harlow though.

I will post a photo later of the Androsace you sent to me. It will surprise you. I also sowed seeds of the same plant and planted them in my new rockery. Have to rush off now but will post later.

You are amassing a fair collection of Sax all look very healthy.I have a couple in a trough not doing to bad but generally it is a bit damp for them.
