Sophora grandiflora

Sophora grandiflora (Sophora grandiflora)

A small vase shaped tree. It took 4 years from seed for the first flowers. The seed pods are interesting. Photo taken Feb.20

Technically the species Sophora tetraptera. Grandiflora is a named form of the species and as yours is from seed, it is really S. teptraptera. Lovely photo of a lovely plant. I envy your climate!

It is still in flower! I realized I had been misinformed by T&M when I was thinking of getting the blue one to go with it.
