Thank you Hoya - there are matching steps the other end of the border! I'll take a photo when (if) it stops raining! I am ashamed to say that we haven't yet done the rounds of the gardens in our area yet - went to the Kent/Sussex ones frequently before the BIG move to Somerset! Must make the effort and see the steps at Hestercombe...if we get a sunny day????

Yes, Cristina. No problem at all, and it stays green in the winter, apart from the flowering stems, which go gold, then I cut them off in the spring. It does take up a lot of space, though!

lol was moveing stuf in my garden and i found the very same plant with the label , 4 got i had it allraedy . but its never had fronds . so i have moved it and put compost under it .so heres hopeing. o and had just got 1 b 4 i found it urggg so now have 2 o well they are lovely . wether not too bad here at mo.
