Tecophilaea cyanocrocus - 2015

South American bulb requiring a sandy soil in full sun. Only 3 or 4 inches tall, frost hardy, and the leaves may be damaged by late frosts. I've tried planting this deeply (in my raised bulb bed) to see if it will help protect the bulb from bad winters.
