I leave my Tulips in the ground all year.

Really, they have done well!

I've read tulips can be short lived but mine stay in the ground and the clumps are increasing. The sun has brought them on a treat.

We usually buy new ones each year, only the species stay in the ground as a rule, a few exceptions!
