When should I prune?
24 Apr, 2012
Bodnatense is pruning group 8 Marcus and should be pruned soon after flowering. They can be taken back more severely every three to four years to keep them under control. There were some in a church border near us and they bloomed well, even though they were cut the same as a hedge every year. They were always more flowers than my Bodnatenses when I had them.

Lovely scent on this shrub. It can take a good old prune if you want to get it to really bloom well.
