Just to say thank you to all who have given me advice on the above TRIFID…weed.
The concensus seems to think it could be alstromerous, so I will plant one up, and see what transpires.
I may sleep tonight, knowing what it might be.
I will keep you posted.???

That looks like wild garlic to me. If it is, it'll smell of garlic!!!
