broken handle on garden fork

Well i seems that all my tools are getting old like me broke this garden fork handle today managed to get pin out too however now
I cant get the broken bit of wood out. Oh the hammer came appart the head come of as I was using it just missing one of the Dogs lol whats next ?

I've seen a few of those "tools" around.Wonder if anyone has a way of getting that wood out. Anyone?

I've seem them burned out. Or if you have a drill drill many holes and weaken it from the sides. Good luck with it. Let me know if you try either and if it works.

Oh dear. Could drill it out as angieindgar says! but , can u get a new handle?? or perhaps use it as aa hand tool when kneeling.Maybe it's a bit big for that!

Welcome to Goy Irene, I have exactly the same tools, why I collect them I'll never know because I never get around to mending them, lol, have to say the other half of the broken fork makes a marvellous dibber and hubby uses a rake head when he goes fishing, lol........
