fed up walking around my garden&hardly any of my plants have name TAGS/LABELS on! So @ weekend i invested in Some CD/Permanent Pens (97p pack4 from Tesco`s ) iv cut a 6pint Milk Cartoon into stripes&iv written down a list of plants i have with no Tag/Label on&will i be busy 4 the whole week now!!!! But itl be worth it :D

Good idea Jacque, I think I`ll give that a try...much cheaper than buying the ready made ones!

JACQUE ~ WHAT AN AWESOME IDEA, I WAS THINKING THIS MORNING I SHOUD HAVE SOME KIND OF LABELS UNTIL I LEARN WHAT I HAVE.

Thanx glad you like the idea,Its also good because i find the labels u buy can be a little 2 small to rite plants/seeds name on&if your eye sights not to good u can make them as big as u like ¬ struggle 2 get all the plants/seeds name on if their long names :)

What an excellent way to recycle! A very useful idea. It is very easy to forget what plants are. Happy labelling!!

I planted some more Sweetpeas and some Ipomoea last week, and ran out of cardboard tubes (I have Sweetpeas planted in autumn ready to go out, too) So then I just popped the remaining seeds in two pots without labels, thinking 'oh yes, I'll remember which is which'! Guess what - I don't. I have been so good this year - until now. At least if/when they germinate I should be able to tell the difference!
