My tibouchina

Hi
This is a photo of my tibouchina, now about 5’ tall (in pot) by about 5’ wide! It is a very late bloomer as it has only just flowered and has many more buds. Any suggestions as to when and how I prune it and where I overwinter it please?

It's a lovely plant. I don't know how to overwinter it. Maybe you'd get some answers if you put it on the questions page.
