Found this today and I like it,it also saves me putting shingle down which I did not realy want to do,It goes the whole way down the garden.
while I was clearing it I was thinking someone loved this garden once I think its very sad to get someone who doesnt look after a garden.

It amazes me that people would cover good paths in a garden. It's not the first time I've heard of it. That looks well constructed. Good luck with the excavations!

I have the same addiction, Ladybug!!! It’s my favourite type of shopping..not food, not clothes but plants! I do think we’re all a bit like that!
Look forward to seeing the next stage in your ‘new’ old path transition.

That's a wonderful surprise Ladybug, and a great improvement. Is what you're going to move poor soil or neglected shingle? Either way it will be a great job shifting it, and very rewarding. looking forward to seeing hte finished path.

It's fun discovering a path you didn't know was there, a bit like an archeological dig. Perhaps you'll discover a lost artefact. Keep us posted with the reclamation.

oh that does look inviting. Keep uncovering and see where it goes.
You seem to be enjoying your new garden, lots to discover, and all those plants emerging.
