Late season Red Pear Toms
3 comments
Earlier this year found a two year old shrivelled red pear tomato. Dried seed and got about 30 seedlings. In late June planted a row of eight in greenhouse limiting fruiting to 2 or 3 trusses per plant. This is second time I’ve tried this close together method with 7 inch pots in a bed of ordinary garden soil and it seem to give a reasonable crop of Toms.

That's good to know. They look nice :) I may try some from seeds next year.
