Sorry guys, just can help myself posting photos of my grandson, You see Thomas Oliver is a special child, My daughter Emma had a very rough pregnancy and birth. When she was two weeks gone they thought it was and etopic pregnancy and submitted her to a laparoscopy, only to find it was ok. At sixteen weeks Thomas was diagnosed with spina bifida and hydrocephalus. The buzz phrase with all the medical staff was don’t feel guilty if you want to terminate. Emma wouldn’t listen and said he was a life she could not destroy. When it all got too much she flew to Los Angeles and joined her partner onboard for a cruise, knowing that when she returned it would be too late to terminate. Thomas was born on the 4th July, as an emergency forcep birth, which gave him a cerebal bleed. Within hours he was in surgery having the hole closed in his spine. Two weeks later he was in surgery again having a cerebal shunt put in. Despite this he was a strapping big boy, too big for the clothes and nappies in the neo-natal unit
Since then he has developed as any normal baby but has bladder and bowel misfunction. He was born with club foot, but mother nature, corrected them for him. No-one knows how much the spina bifida will affect him in the future but we all love him dearly and he is to us a normal happy baby at the moment so we count our blessings especially when you’re given a hearty chuckle.
I hope this explains the photos and why Mummy and Daddy want to give him such a special start in life, including the best food ever, home grown

RRRRR he is absolutely beautiful, and looks a very happy baby. I would have done the same as your daughter. Listening to you he seems to already have a special life.
