My veggies seem to be taking an age to grow compared to last year. The Peas have only just started to pod, Broad Beans are taking their time too. After a long wait my potatoes, grown in bags or tubs, are beginning to flower and showing signs that they might be coming up to harvest time.
Carrots…..very poor this year.
I’ve been told it’s all down to the inclement weather we’ve been having; not enough sun and warmth to give the plants that much needed boost. Hopefully, we’ll get to see some sun this summer, if not I’ll have to borrow a few sun beds to put over the veg beds :-)

Well your vegetables are doing better than mine. The weather has been awful hasn't it. I hope it gets better soon.

Welcome to Goy ...........Your veg are further on than mine reckon it will be 4-6 weeks before I get any spuds .........what we need is some warmth to get things going.

Thanks for the comments and welcome. I suppose I should be a little relieved I'm not the only one finding things are taking their time. An offering to the weather Gods in exchange for some sunshine is what's needed I think. Anyone got any suggestions who we could sacrifice? :-)

Hello and welcome to GOY. Great beds you have, my veg are the same, plenty of water but too cold and very little sun.
