Squirrel mayhem!

On my way today to start to clear my mum’s house; she died in the summer. Lost my job too this week!
Meanwhile, this morning decided to make some soup for supper and the antics of 3 mad squirrels jumping on the bird feeders caught my eye. They were literally launching themselves onto the feeders and then smacking each other whilst they were hanging there!
They would then jump off, charge around the garden after each other – up and down the fences, stop off for a quick drink out of the bird bath and then jump back on for a nosh and more antics.
They would then sit on the wall outside the kitchen window for a bit of a rest (while the actual birds took advantge of the break) and then they were off again.
This lasted for at least 15 mintues and had me in fits of laughter!
So I’m off to get on with this grim task with a bit of a smile on my face and the promise of a lovely supper when I get back.
I’ve attached some photos of previous culprits…..

I'm sorry to hear about your bereavement. My mam also died in the summer, so I can understand what you're going through with clearing her house etc. An awful job isn't it. I'm glad the squirells cheered you up a bit :o)
