Cats protection League (protection from cats that is)

As (probably) mentioned by some famous general during a famous war, a well defended position can repel a far greater enemy force!
I have now erected a second phase of cat defences. Although I thought my first attempt at protecting my veg patch was sturdy enough to repel a small army of cats, I sorely underestimated my foe! I’m not certain cats can laugh but, if they could, it would have been in my general direction!
With any luck my new bamboo and netting approach will have them cursing me.
I have one with a roof and one without; my first roof was messy and not up to my wife’s high standards, so I didn’t bother with the second. So far after a couple of days, things are looking good and I risked putting some plants in. Fingers crossed!

I think it's my fault for creating two fantastic new large litter trays, then expecting the cats not to use them.
I've seen people use some electronic devices to scare cats away, but that doesn't seem right in their own garden.

ive done the same but my raised beds are about a foot and a half high then I put up a cage like yours, the net did not work so then I used wire mesh and they have not touched it since,I have four cats but only have a problem with one,she watchs me build this stuff then shows me what ive done wrong so that I have to keep adapting to her,im sure she is trying to train me to her ways, lol

Oh well done, I have adult cats and they are educated in their own way, can I keep them out of my greenhouses and off the newly dug earth, NOPE!! they are oblivious to the fact that I have areas whereby they just aren`t welcome, I`ve chased, watered and even given a short sharp smack on the rump, yes I also think they laugh at our attempts...
