These are the plants that have survived during the very dry time.
Thank goodness for the rain we have had lately😊

Only just seen your blog, Marjorie’s. You have a nice lot of colour there. I’m glad that some plants thrived for you. My garden came back to life too after the rain. I’m wondering how long it will last before the first frost.( fingers crossed)!

I was up in Sunderland at my brother's and he refuses to have any internet and when I got back a few days later I didn't look back. So sorry that I didnt see it.
now I have it. Your garden certainly knows how to put on a show. Your Magnolia [?] is gorgeous and given time will be a suitable tribute to him.

Lovely photographs Marjorie, summer was good for some but not us gardeners, I had so many gaps but when the rain eventually arrived I had not lost as much as first thought, I like the memoriam for your late husband, I planted a tree for mum and now its dads as well, a climbing rose for my sister, sadly because of the drought its only had one flush of flowers but is growing well, hopefully next year we will both see more flowers for our loved ones....
Not sure what is going on with my goy again, its so slow these days, it took me an age to write my own blog, I did apologise on your other post but my comment has disappeared, beyond my comprehension Marjorie, I've never understood why that happens, I've liked it to let you know I did see it, now I'm wondering if thats happened on other members posts.....

Apologies from me too, Marjorie! I didn’t see your blog, I’ve been busy with work etc..and haven’t been on the site as often. I love your yellow leaf jasmine! We had this one prior to the extension being built many years ago..sadly it was destroyed. It always looks pretty with flowers nearby like yours.

Such a pretty selection, Marjorie. I'm glad the one planted for your husband has come into flower for you. I hope you haven't lost too much over this period of drought. I'm still looking for some of my asters to appear!
