Jeyes do not show its use as a soil steraliser on the can but since I posted my blog I contacted Jeyes and spoke to one of thier techie guys.
He sent me a leaflet that tells you how to use it as a disinfectant for soil.
Dig soil over to two spade depths first and leave soil lkoose.
The formula is 2 tablespoons of Jeyes Fluid to 5 Liters of water, apply with watering can to wet the soil (soak it) down to 18 imnches deep.
Leave the ground for fourteen days before planting.
I know my father used to use it years ago on his allotment, that's were I got the idea from.

I'm sure people do use it for soil although I never had and the manufacturers don't recommend it for that purpose on the can. I only use it for washing pots and propogating equipment. Certainly I'd be wary if you have cats! Sorry not to be of any more help. Hopefully, someone will have done it themselves and be able to help.
