Weeds in Patio

I am so grateful to the GoY members who helped me with the patio. Even though it is late Autumn here, I have sprayed the tiles with Clorine and Roundup. I finished it with a sweeping of sand. In the past ants have appeared between the joins and this has not helped control the weeds. It does appear that the precess is ongoing. Because of our mild climate, (about 4 frosts a winter averaging – 2o C) I am able to plant year round veges. eg Beetroot, Carrots, Parsnips, Silverbeet, Cabbages, Cauliflour, Brussell Sprouts. The one plant that does not do well in our climate is a Rose Bush. The bushes usually lose their leaves by late December and look all straggely. It is too hot for them. Spraying for aphids is almost a twice weekly process. We have 50 inches of rain per annum incidentally. During the summer the humidity levels range from 90% and upwards.

On the bright side we live near lots of lovely beaches and I surfcast off the beach for the elusive fish.
Will try to get some photos on another blog for the members information.
