Hi GOYers…..Im off work this week (annual leave)…such plans i had….Im going to paint my bathroom and spend the rest of the week in the garden catching up on all those little projects…The rain…OHHHH the rain.. here in the north of ireland has been falling continously for the past three days……. falling isnt really the word to describe it…..TORRENTIAL….:<( :<(….Its 9am here and i have tidied around and i am now sitting here at the computer talking to you guys, which, i may say is my only saving grace…..thanks for being there….:>) :>)……..Think i’ll add a few photos……I have just been to Lidel and bought 25 Gladioli “jessica” for £1.79p (yes possums £1.79p)…quite a bargain i thought…..also i purchased a bag of mixed dahlias for the same price and it stated the bag held 4 tubers…to my surprise when i opened it there were 6 tubers good size too…so maybe if it hadnt been raining i wouldnt have gone shopping and i would have missed this bargain……

Thanks Angie, i just weeded about 2foot of border and planted 1 dahlia "bishop of York" and the rain started again...so im back in at the computer......ah well..:<(

at least you got something done - I was very good I cleaned my garden table and chairs and jet sprayed 6 slabs - now I'm having a rest - I tend to forget these jobs need doing to - ah well must push on ( I should really think of tidying the house however it's too nice out !

I want to plant the ones I bought yesterday..but guess what, it's pouring ...again. When is that promised warm sunny weather going to start??

Thanks Hollyeves, its 2.30pm and the sun has been shining for about an hour now, i just came indoors to change my t-shirt and then back out to the mud....lol.....Oh yes....and to check my in-box.....catch ya later...:>)
