hi pepes not been on for ages x happy new year to all x i know its an age old problem but… has anyone any ideas as to keeping the pidgeons off my beautiful 3 year old conference pear tree ? the s*ds had all my fruit last year …. wasnt happy one bit….

I'm not sure I agree with you Diane, I love seeing Buzzards and the like, it's all part of nature and birds of prey are fabulous to watch.
Not sure what you can do to protect your pears mouseybrown, not sure if some sort of netting might work? Not very attractive I know, but it might be effective.

Its only my personal opinion, but I think these Raptors
brought into this country by the RSPB fanatics are breeding too much, and driving the Pigeons into the towns
- and onto our gardens in search of food.
We never had them years ago.
