Well, thanks for the suggestion to put my spare cape gooseberry plants on Freecycle! They went like hot cakes. What a fabulous idea….it made me feel so virtuous, spreading the green! At one point I was in danger of not having any left for myself!!!!The neighbours must have been wondering what was going on I’ve never had so many visitors outside of Christmas. Still, it was fun to see these healthy little plants flying off to make other people happy….one man even gave me a kiss! Think I’ll plant more than I need next time too LOL.

Thats fantastic - That feeling of spreeding the green is amazing, thats what keeps me even more interested in gardening and growing my own. It's a Good Life..
