This year decided not to have a holiday but to spend on the garden, New decking, table and chairs, BBQ and to extend the pond. All done, looks wonderful, completed 6 weeks ago. Did I lose concerntration and not see summer come and go?

It's been warm(ish) and sunny here for most of the past two weeks Louisa, but, although the soil is dry and hard on top, there is plenty of moisture under the surface!! mind you, we have clay soil here which holds the moisture longer than most soils!

It's nice to be able to spend time in the garden ... much better than a holiday if you ask me. A holiday is over before you know it, and then it just becomes a distant memory. But a garden is there all the time :o)
