As you can see from this Pix I have a job on my hands to get this front garden to anything that looks presentable....In the Pix is my Daughter-in-law with Jilly and her dog Shadow, they are on their way to the park opposite my house, where they are holding a mutt's show for pedigree and any heredity challenged dog you care to show...........The cuddly toy is to be one of the prizes for the children who take part................some of the shrubs In the pix I don't even know the name of..............

I find it a bit difficult at the moment Louise its on an incline, and I have just got rid of my walking stick after two months hobbling around, so am a bit tentative at the moment.as to using the mower etc and cannot kneel at all so I'm a bit stymied as to what to do about it.

Ah, i see your point, not so good then.
Why not draw up some ideas and get someone to do all the hard work for you ? !!!
Would daughter-in-law help ?
There must be someone that would like to get their hands on your garden !
I know of a couple of people nearby that have an arrangement - admittedly with elderly neighbours - whereby they want more garden and/or growing space and the other person doesn't want/can't use that space.
It's worked out well. Just a thought :)

I have suggested to different people that my garden is up for grabs but as yet no takers :0)
daughter-in-law is not really a garden animal and last year when helping me had the clipper's ready to cut back my beautiful Acer !! Son No 1 is the same and has before now chopped stuff I would rather have kept.......
A young lad I know does come and give me a lift with heavy stuff now and then, and he is hopefully together with a friend going to line and gravel my back garden............
Thanks for your suggestions Louis.... :0)

I would agree with Louise would love to get stuck in there - it could look amazing maybe if you could get someone to cut the grass and did a bit of digging at your supervision you could do all the nice stuff like planting and pruning

Gee ! Thanks Angie......Seriously though I know that once it stops *****y Raining ! I will hopefully at least get the lawns or what passes for lawns sorted.............went looking for my spade in the cellar the other day and I think it's been highjacked by some family member or other......so will have to track it down or buy a new one.

That looks a lovely large front garden Goldie !
I wish i could get MY hands on it :)))
Lots of room for beds and borders full of pretty flowers and it would compliment your shrubs too.
Yes, definately something to play with there !!!!!
