thanks...I didn't do much but bring it in and trip over it all winter..lol..very little space. Hope the boyfriend had handle it being inside again this year :) ---oh my kingdom for more window space...

I like the pink. I'm with you about the space. My husband threatened to throw me out with the plants because they were taking over the house. Instead, he has offered to build a greenhouse. (Guess he still likes to have me around.) We'll see if I get it before winter hits...

I wish I could have a greenhouse or a solarium...but we rent and it all takes the almightly dollar. :(

Yes, the dollar is the reason I don't have a greenhouse yet. Owning a house is more expensive than I thought it would be. This is our first home and there is always something you want to change or improve because it is yours and you can. I guess there are a few pros to renting. (I still prefer owning. sorry.) Where are you in Canada that you have long winters, that could be almost anywhere east of me. :-) I am an hour east of Vancouver, so pretty mild here. (I used to live in TX though, and I loved the long summer there.)

I would rather own then rent, just haven't had the money to ever buy a house.
Though, like you said there are perks to renting, but I love to paint and I love colour and I can't do that in here, which is really tough for me to handle.
Just the almighty dang dollar standing in the way and I spend it on plants...lol...
I'm in Ontario, southern Ontario.
October is iffy. It can be nice and it can be cold. There is a rather large fair near here that I went to every year when I was growing up. Some times we'd be wearing our winter coats to the fair and sometimes it was really hot. Then November, December, Jan. Feb. March is winter. April is iffy again. Cold, warm, rain, cold, snow, warm all of April. Then May is the same, rain, cold, warm. Usually the first growths come up and some tulips and other plants like icicle pansies.
No seeds can be safely sat outside until June. The weather has changed a lot too. The long May 24th weekend use to be the big planting weekend. Now the news is telling us to wait until the second week of June to put out seeds. Change in climate. So if I put seeds out in June...that leaves July and August to really enjoy everything. Sept. is usually warm but everything starts to fade accept for some Fall plants like Zinnias and Mums. Sept. can have the cool nights and jacket weather mornings that warm up to hot and needing no jacket during the day.

It's been cool and rainy this summer too. I've noticed plants going to seed now. I've was collecting some seeds today and the Fall plants are getting buds. Bummer, wish they could last a bit longer.
