Ranunculus at Holbrook.

Caltha palustris..marsh marigold...king cups, buttercups..they are in the ranunculus family... don't you love that pure clear golden yellow? like sundrops they seem to shine back at you.

I really should have asked the garden owner for their name - but he was busy and I didn't feel I could keep disturbing him! Aren't they just beautiful, though.
