strawberry tower

Nice combination with the blues, shed (?) seating and pot. Have you had many strawberries yet?

great tower richard, i gave strawberries a go this year but out of 5 plants only got 3 strawberries grr, was cheaper to buy a bunette lolhope you get more than me

Not many strawberries yet Silverbelle, Sanbaz as they are first year plants I believe they are more fruitful in 2nd and 3rd years then not so productive - I will need to plant up the runners and then organise myself in such a way to use 2nd and 3rd year plants (this will need methodical labelling -Ive not done it before, and not very methodical in the past!)

Its surprising how heavy the strawberry tower is to move around when it is full, so I made a base for it to stand on and put 4 castors on it -it is much easier to move around now.
