Always quick to find anything freshly filled with water, but her face doesn;t fit into the watering can, takes a long tongue. It the waters too far, she'll dip a toe. I don't fertilize so the water is safe.

I love seeing her poking her faces into these cans...lol. They do love fresh water.
I was thinking after seeing your birdbath Twiggy to try that myself, but bianca would be out gaudring it from birds all day every day. Not sure I'll do it. :-)

Well it's an odd thing - neither Busby or Chutney ever catch any birds from the bird bath (perhaps some things are sacrosanct) - plenty from everywhere else plus the odd mouse though! :))

That is good Twiggy. Bianca doesn't vatvh them almost ever but she would creep up and sit next the the bath just waiting and the birds would never show. :-) Or fill the trees and yell at her all day.

Yes she is old..she is happy right now..as she gets to share the laundry room with 2 guinea pigs of my daughters and keeps watch over them diligently....lol..she is not a family, or dog friendly cat...so is quite happy with her space.

Cranky Tail....lol. Sounds so cute. :-)
Yes Louise, the white stuff has come. She did just pout that day, now she's out watching it all from under the house, she must have a cozy spot. She only stops going out when its 0F or below. She'll sniff the cold air and then turn her head like, 'euw!'

This is exactly what our oldest cat does - he's a flippin' pest when you're filling the watering cans! You have to fill the smaller one right to the v. v. top & leave it so he can drink (& drink & drink). The bigger can has a handle across the top like yours so he can only get his paw in (it's a v. large paw as he's a big cat - used to weigh 8kgs until old age began to get the better of him).
He also likes to drink out of our tiny bird bath (which is actually a plant pot saucer with a piece of Derbyshire stone in for the birds to sit on) - the other day I could see him waiting patiently next to it & when I went to see what the problem was there was a frog sitting in the water - I had to leave them to it because I can't stand frogs!
