I was given a load of builders sand by a neighbour who had brought to much, and used it to try and level the ground ( and hopefully supress any weeds I may have missed ) but read on here today it helps with clay soil which I have :-)

It was very nice of them, I was told they had finished with it so I popped a note through there door and asked, ( thats also how I got most of the pallets for the back (pic going on in a min)

Very good neighbour. You are not alone with clay soil, my whole garden thrives on it!
