I dont expect you know which variety it is do you, an article in The paper was favouring the french ones as opposed to Brown Turkey which ours is.....

Sorry DD2 I haven't a clue, all the fruit trees were already well established when we bought the house and a lot have just sprouted up out of nowhere - no doubt from seeds etc. trodden or washed into the ground.
Just sorry I can't be any more helpful...
