I used to have cacti in this area last year, but lost them to frost last February, so turned it into a grass area now.

yes these look great louise, i have just got 2 small grasses for my rockery but on a bigger area look really good together, thanx again for the idea :o)

Thank you Sandra. If you decide to do so, do not forget to lay a membrane before laying the gravel to stop the weeds from coming up.... :))

Yes, grasses are very interesting DD2, as I like to see them swing when the wind blows.
