Fantastic - I envy you - fancy having that in your garden, I suppose you'll be used to it Gwen - I think I'm lucky if I get a brief glimpse of a frog!

He is beautiful isn´t he. In Spain we mainly get gekkos, they´re a bit anemic after Tenerife´s lizards.

I love all these reptiles and always look out for them when we are abroad. I have a rather large north american pine snake- she is gorgeous but a bit grumpy at times!

My dogs found a snake in the back garden and yesterday found another by the front wall. I can´t find what kind it is, maybe someone knows - it is light brownish with darker brown diamonds along it´s back. By the time I got my camera (and the broom) it had disappeared. I had a slow worm as a pet once but don´t think I´d like a snake, placid or grumpy !!

I don't know what kind of snake that would be - not a diamond back I hope-
Keep the broom handy!
