Stream bank

We are lucky enough to have a stream running through the garden. I didn't plant any of this, except the loosestrife. I'm growing more from seed at the moment. The clematis is (I think) 'Gypsy Queen' and I don't prune it , I just let it run along the bank.

Pretty you have a lovely garden and lucky like you said to have the stream, Does your clematis flower as good not cutting back?
