Apples ready to be sauced. I made 18 quarts and canned them today. Yum!

I love this tree. It is the only one we kept when we moved into the house...the only one (miracles do happen) that wasn't infested with some type of worm. We had a few lovely types of trees in the front yard, but they were all dying. This tree hadn't been pruned in years and only got about twenty apples on it our first summer here. My husband has been gracious enough to find out about pruning and care for it, so now it is doing so much better!
