This is only an 3cm tall so hasn't flowered, haven't killed any but is easy to give them root rot, so open compost is essential. They can be difficult to get to flower as need a long dry rest over winter and lots of sun to flower. Apparently you need to almost kill them with dehydration over the winter to force them to flower in the summer.

Thank you. Maybe I'll try another one. I probably killed it with kindness lol

I would really like to give a species a shot, & have a weakness for Dens. Mounts are no good as I have to travel for my business, so would a species Den. be a reasonable choice?

A den may be a good choice as they need to be allowed to dry out a bit at times, and catleya's.

Thanks - I'll give a Den a shot I think.

Do you get flowers on all these ? I've never been able to grow them. They always die off whenever I've bought one.
