That isn't a fuchsia. It's called Phygelius. I had one in my old garden. It spreads a lot.

Welcome to GOY Camomilelawn. Great plant - Hywel is right though. It's often called 'Cape Fuchsia' but it's not related to the fuchsia family - it's a member of the foxglove family.

You're so right Oddbillie - my knowledge has been developing since I joined this site. I still regard myself as a real novice compared to so many gardeners here. It's a great place to learn!
