What he actually does every morning is to do a patrol of the WHOLE garden, to ensure that everything is in its proper place, chases out marauders like pigeons. then puts his paws up on the wall and inspects the stream. then he goes and sits plonk in the middle of the path to the front gate for ages! He has his routine - only altering if someone walks past then he dashes down to 'see them off'! Very funny today - I had placed three cloches over my three Coprosmas and he saw one and barked his head off at it!
