Despite having her 4 years, we found out just last year that she is completely blind and probably had been from birth.

Incredible how we didn't even know and the Vets missed it too on her check-ups. She is so accompished at doing the normal cat things that we never noticed.

It wasn't until she stopped in a cattery last year, not knowing her surroundings she walked off a shelf, so we were advised to see an eye specialist who confirmed she was blind.

We were so proud and amazed earlier this year when she caught a bird and she has since caught another. How this is possible is beyond me.

She is one in a million.

Oh what a shame but I suppose she knows no different. That really is amazing that she has fooled you for so long and so well. Hope she doesn't get too successful with the bird catching though!
