Hmmm - looking a bit overgrown - thing I might remove the Siberian iris at the back and divide up the Hosts for next year. No flowers at all on my little water lilly this year.... :-(

Hi Richard - Well done for having an even smaller pond than mine!! Mine is made out of an old roof-space cistern tank. If you look at my blogs from last year you will find out about how I did it, what's planted and who lives there. And, yes, it's FULL of frogs!! Including little tiny froglets :-)

You have given me an idea Sid although too late now. We had a new bathroom a few years ago and I gave our old metal bath to a neighbour who uses it as drinking trough for his horses -on reflection I could have used it as a pond . Nevermind you live and learn don't you.

That's right Richard - I think you could use anything so long as it holds water!

Have you got any frogs in there Sid? I have a pond much smaller than yours(made it from a washing up bowl!) and have two frogs that live nearby and go in and out of it like a yoyo -they also help to keep my slug and snail population in check (well I think they do-although they haven't told me!)
