Yes; it's a nice big area, Bernieh, but dear Mrs James would prefer the middle of it left clear for garden furniture, etc. Still, I'm sure we'll work out a plan for next year!

Aside from the fact that there might be a few crazies here ... there's lots of great gardeners with a whole lot of experience and good ideas. If you go to the Garden Pictures tab - there's a list of 'Garden Ideas' on the right hand side of the page. You'll find 'Back Patio Ideas', 'Container Ideas', 'Back Garden Ideas' and a lot more. Have fun.

Thanks for the welcome Sanbaz! It's been quite dry here as you correctly guessed. I'm having to keep a close eye on the 'crops' to make sure they don't dry out!

and you will have to watch out for cabage whites which have been spotted crossing the sea to come and feed off our crops apparently, because its been a good year here, i read it the other day in AG mag

Thanks Sue! I have been keeping an eye on your discussions and comments. You seem quite knowledgable and humerous! We'll have some learning fun hopefully!

I don't know about the knowledgeable !! haha Been gardening for about 15 years, a lot of it being trial and error, but you learn a bit along the way !
As for the humour ..... well ..... I'm a Brummy, and we're all a bit round the twist !! lol
