wall mounted dove cote

Are you going to get some doves to go in it...........................

we bought some but need to go and collect them we're in the process of moving everything from underneath tho as im sure this will be a messy experience!

can't wait to see the pic's of them.

How i love Doves i think their so sweet,Iv apair of Ring necks who come&feed everyday@ my bird Table on Apple Tree & i think theyv now got eggs cos i only see them 1 @ a time now:)

Classy cote!... care to share plans? I have mourning doves who come to my yard to enjoy the feeder.. Would like to be able to offer them accommodation.
I'm making a bat houses for my cousins barn and equipment shed. It utilitarian ...the bats eat tons of night flying insects and mosquitoes, but I'm going to make one for the end wall of my garden shed.

Wish Id thought of this didnt realise you could wall mount them,so much easier than how got mine up about time sorted some pics out .

Im afraid I can't take the credit for this Lori otherwise i would share the plans! Its designed and made in Kent by Forsham Cottage Arks! We have many of their creations around the farm! Its basically half a dovecote! we do have a classic dovecote on a post to erect once we have cleared the crumbling down buildings! saw a sparrow hawk circling around the farm yesterday which made me glad i hadn't got my doves yet!

Now there's a memory for me...ickle... you mentioned the hawk...and you have posted pictures of all your lovely little chicks... My mom used to tell me when playing outdoors...(i was very young) ..."keep an eye out for the hawk...If you see one run and tell me!" I can still see her standing near the coop waving her apron at that old hawk... We had chickens and ducks...what a lovely memory! thanks.
