These are gorgeous - look so good in contrast to those great pebbles.

I didn't know there were other than yellow either. This is great! I love my bidens.

Yes Greenthumb quite a few lovely yellow ones. Bidens Aurea commonly known as Arizona beggarticks is a lovely white one with a yellow centre. Bidens aurea Pink heart allias winter cosmos is a different striking (bubblegum) pink which I hope to find. Other than yellow its diificult to find guess I struck lucky with the pink and orange on this summer. Be careful not to get the weedy/invasive ones.

Nothing carries through my winter Drc. If they do, they are real troopers. I'm planning to bring mine in this year and carry it through winter upstairs, long as I can stand the smell if they bloom right through. :-)

No they should go dormant Green thumb wait as long as you can to lift them?

I expected so, I have a greenhouse light inside for it to complete its season, than downstairs to the low light cool for a month or two, then back to the light. I'm well practiced, though some still just don't go for it. I potted it this year to make the move easy. My heliotrope did well last year though I had to fight pest all the way along and they did not perform well for the summer (these bloom twice a year). Biden doesn't have the pest problem. My -40C will kill it for sure outside.

I meant to say I hadn't seen onethis colour before - your one is lighter isn't it? If it isn't I apologise - I must be getting confused as I am looking at about a million plants a day! We were talking about it with the Gaura and Artemisia weren't we - its all coming back to me now....must be my age!!

That's the conversation Muddy :-)
You're right though, we were talking about my other one 'Sweet Dreams', this one though has darker pink flowers - i think i prefer it !

Isnt it funny with plants the one in the ground hardly flowered while this one still has plenty of flowers.

Hi D - did you get my PM? Yes, plants just seem to find something they like and run with it - I guess the trick is remembering what that something is! Guess you'll be digging up the one in the ground and moving it into a container for spring?
Louise - I'm glad it was a different coloured plant - I wouldn't like to think I'm losing my mind completely!! I'm not sure I prefer it to yours, as I thought that one was very nice too, but this is a lovely colour. Are they similar to Cosmos?

Just replied MW, these are composite plants which I think must mean related they certainly look very similar
